Re: I cloned my ESN but now I don't have service?

Hmmm this is so weird, I put the HEX and Checksum in backwards but you'd think if I were doing something wrong the ESN to Blackberry wouldn't be writing to my 6700 and it is as well as the correct HEX and it looks how it does on my 6700 as it looks on my Blackberry. I appreciate all your help PPC.

this is the the process step by step... grab your orignal ESN file, and start over again,
pay special attention to the checksum (make sure you enter your HEX in CAPS in the calc)
and DONT remove the last four when you hex edit the file....
OMG I love you! I guess I wasn't paying close enough attention but I started over and now I'm cloned. Apparently I was entering my new ESN HEX into the checksum calculator backwards when I was supposed to be entering it normally and you were right, it was causing my 6700 to read it wrong because it was the wrong checksum. Thank you SO much!
