1. I believe it is 64MB. Someone feel free to correct me if I'm wrong though.
2. No. If it's going into the ROM it is going into the \Windows folder, period. If you must move it elsewhere it is going to eat up storage memory. That's just the way this file system was designed. The big OEMs and carriers (not to mention MS) have to deal with it too. |

Just to let anyone know when enough is enough. Apparently if you add too much programs, there are no error in the complining of the rom BUT once you flash it to the device and boot it up it will go all white screen. I guess I didn't need a dictionary program after all

Can you report the size of your ROM files with and without the dictionary (so then assuming the limit exists somewhere in between those two numbers). Thanks for reporting your experience... it's good to know.

You can tell just by looking at the temp folder.
The ROM file size will always be the same - 63.2 MB (66,322,432 bytes) - , but the imgfs_raw_data.bin file will show the actual size that you used (I think) and for sure, right click and get properties on the 'dump' dir and that will tell you what you're trying to sqeeze into 63.2mb - although that seems to be a couple mb larger then the actual Rom size. I'm at 57mb myself, no issues. Don't forget to remove junk you don't want or need (for me, PMSN is 'junk' ) If you're over 62MB you are in the ballpark of being full. |

I have a dump folder that is well over 120MB. I have gotten the evil white boot screen too. My guess at understanding this is basically, when the dump is compressed into the nba, certain blocks can be overwritten or corrupted if there is too much info. I am guessing that this affects the boot area.
Anyway, it seems that the threshold for my 3.3 was about 124MB with some 3300+ files in the dump folder.
