Can rom editors/patchers post kitchen versions of your roms?

whoa, this thread has spun many different webs. really didnt expect that.

I am basically on intermediate when it comes to cooking roms. I know how to make my own OEM and edit the registry from the kitched files but I cannot be arsed to do it. People are posting several 3.5 roms with fixes that I absolutely need but programs that are totally useless to me and will actually hinder my pocketpc experience. The problem is people aint documenting these fixes. Someone fixed smartdialing and the ## codes and he is just compiling his own rom with his own programs and oems for example (just saying, not putting anyone down or nothing). It would be better if he would explicitly say what exactly he did so those cooking their own roms know how to improve and tailor their kitchen to their tastes.

Thinking about it now posting different kitchen roms would be as pointless as the various precompiled roms being posted. Why not have a thread that documents kitchen rom mods, both OEM mods and registry mods and fixes, that has file attachments with OEM files or explicit instructions on how to modify/do a registry edit in the kitchen so everyone can pick and choose what OEM, registry edits and patches they want to make to their kitchen rom.

I mean why would I want spb plus in the rom for example? that program changes and adds new feature slike every 2 months, in another month the rom version is bound to be obsolete.

My (long winded) response is in this other thread. I firmly believe that there's a better way to deal with this than resorting to verbal snipes, and that we, as a community, can actually work together to create something better than what we have now.

I as others are merely suggesting others post the OEM and registry hacks in the Kitchen format instead of endless useless recompilations of the existing OEMs which anyone with a reasonable understanding can do themselves.

At what point in time did the volume of posts start to matter in any way? Any retard can post but how useful is that post? Yours is a fat 0 on the scale which only means one thing.

This is my last response to you. You hauled off and attacked another forum member completely unprovoked--talk about anger issues. If you would like members to create OEMs for you because you're too busy/stupid/lazy to learn to do it yourself then try asking nicely. Barging in, demanding things, and attacking other users is a sure way to make others want to help you less. Go read your three wonderful posts again... if you don't see anything wrong with them then I don't know what to tell you. Notice how no one's got your back? That should be your first clue.

And if you think my posts rank at zero in the usefulness scale then where does that put yours?

i am closing this topic and if this type of behavior happens again the user will be banned. Were are a family and we will not have a member with only 3 posts bash a main member of the site this is my decision and if u are unhappy with my decision you can consult me in pms......
