is this a pim.vol from wm5 if so it won't work in 6.1 you'll need to reflash to a wm5 rom and restore it then backup your contacts using the software found here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=299705
and yes i know it say wm2005 but it works in wm5 and 6.1 good luck

I had upgraded my phone to 6.1 having SP3 installed, there are no major changes to windows with it and nothing has happened to my active sync either. I think that the question is with his bootloader, Is he doing it right? or the phone might be acting up.
