Colonel, I've been running the new Sprintnk.nbf rom since it was upped on April 3rd. I have noticed that a soft boot often fails on the first try but is usually successful on the second. This initial failure happens quite frequently, more often than not which puts it over the 50% mark. What happens on a bad restart is that it gets to the Today screen and just freezes requiring the second reset.

Also, most concerning is that the phone locks up when I answer an incoming call. I thought it was because I initially had Voice Command announce the caller but I disabled that and it still happens. This lockup on incoming calls occurs about 20% of the time. Luckily I get to see who’s calling me as I answer so I call them back after I reset it.

It gets most frustrating when I reset it and it fails on the first attempt like I mentioned above in the beginning. In those cases it takes me like 5 minutes to actually call the person back.

I appreciate the work you’re doing. These are just my findings. Thanks.

You have to put your own VoiceCmd.exe in before you flash. He's not going to give it to you -- it's a retail application. Everything else is there for your (our) convenience, but if you don't own Voice Command 1.6 then it's not going to work. If you do, you just need to install it to your phone, copy the VoiceCmd.exe file to your desktop, then put it in the correct folder in Colonel's distribution, and reflash your phone.

Smartskey is in the latest versions.

dawilliams, you must have your own copy of Voice Command and either place VoiceCmd.exe in the boot folder when you flash or put it in \Windows any time after flashing. Otherwise, it will not work. You can use the other included voice dialer.
