Right window - last page - still a link should not give dozen of choices to screw up things... I am excited about the potentials but I am a newbie to bricklaying.

I apologize if this question was answered, but I've looked through the last few pages and don't see the answer.

I understand that there isn't a full installer up yet for 3.5, but am unclear of the following:
1) can the file posted 2/23 for 3.5 be used for Sprint?
2) does IDTransfer now work with 3.5?
3) does USB tethering now work with 3.5?

Thanks.

It still seems to happen so randomly though.
Hi Colonel,
I fixed he glyphcache and fatfs settings. Still locks up after being idle for a while. Usually the screen is also messed up and the time isn't legible, but this time it wasn't. The clock stopped 6 hours after I put it on the cradle - don't know if this info helps at all, but thought I'd pass it on just in case...

I just installed 3.5 and tried to tether via USB. As soon as I started WModem, I received an error box saying "Com Open Error". Is this something I can resolve? I must be able to do a USB tether. Should I go back to 3.3? Please advise. Thank you.

Hey, I just found "Internet Sharing" -- it looks like this takes care of the tethering -- it worked via USB perfectly (without needing the "dialing application"). If so, then what is the Wireless Modem application for now?

Colonel -

Please let me know if you want problems found posted here or some where else (or not at all!).

The Intent Midlet manager seems to not work. It can't open/install midlets (Opera Mini in this case), and slows the 6700 down to a crawl when running. I just now installed the latest version of the Intent software from XDA (I believe it is the same version you have built-in), and it runs just fine.

On the built in version, go to Menu -> System Info for example - it won't open or display any info...then try to switch windows and you'll see how slow the system is running.

Let me know if you need or want any info to help debug this.

ChrisFix-did you check to make sure the today timout was disabled? I will check on Midlet Manager. I never use it so I didn't notice that it wasn't working.

Hi Colonel,
Yes, in addition to setting the memory as mentioned, I also did un-check the Today Timeout (it was originally set). Did a soft reset and put the phone on the cradle. I also made sure BT and WiFi were off. Let me know if you want to test any other settings.

Thanks,
Chris
