Then I get the notification that a new pix/flix message is ready to download. I then click on it and right-menu button and click on send/receive.
Has been working ever since WM6.0 kitchen and works fine in WM6.1 kitchen as well.

In wm5 i needed to force 1x or i'd get the ip error, i haven't tried to let it do evdo since i put on wm6.1, i just leave it at 1x from before, i live in a fringe area and my battery drains hard switchin back and forth every 2 seconds.

Re: Recieving MMS Messages through Verizon

today out of nowhere, I received over 5 pix messages on my vzw 6700. I noticed it was on EVDO and when I went to click send/receive, I kept getting the Error Code 37: cannot locate mobile IP (something like that). So I looked around here and found this thread.

I have Arcsoft MMS with the settings you guys have listed above. The mode of operation was on Hybrid, so it automatically switches between 1x or EVDO wherever I am at. Current I was on EVDO and it did not work. So I forced it to be in 1x only. Now I get all my pix/MMS messages. it's weird. I'll leave it like this for a while and see if performance change on my phone.

Re: Recieving MMS Messages through Verizon

I too have just recently ugraded my vzw 6700 with the WM 6.1 Kitchen. Although I've had it properly installed and working fine since this past weekend, I just noticed tonight that I nolonger have the option to send or receive pics or pics/flicks. I do have unlimited pics and text and I also have the data plan.

Ex.) when I select a wav file (from storage card) and it gives me the option to send, it'll automatically try to send via outlook and then when you punch in a phone number, it'll say that outlook does not send text messages.

Any ideas?

Re: Recieving MMS Messages through Verizon

try switching from email to MMS via the dropdown menu in the top left and sending that way see if that works

mine did that too. I cooked up a new rom in the 6.1 kitchen and it worked fine after.

Craigerk...when you said you cooked up a new rom...did you add~ delete programs...did you do something different? I'm just wondering if it's a certain program causing/ canceling out the MMS.

Here's my selection text, for some reason it won't pull up on buildos now though... not sure why. The one attached also worked, it was my one right before the one I'm running now.

WoW...I'm blown away that you not only receive ur MMS, but that you've managed to fit all of those programs thru the 6.1 Kitchen. I had to take the Microsoft programs off and install them seperately...just so my screen wasn't blank on the Flash. OK...I'll try cooking up another ROM and see if that changes anything.

lol, yeah, I had more selected, but kept saying rom full, so had to take things off one by one. Then I did get a white screen, so took one more thing off and now I have that, lol. oh, and I must have saved it before my last one, but I have iContact, not funcontact, fc would be good if there wasn't a 2 second delay, and I don't want to minimize it all the time.

Re: Recieving MMS Messages through Verizon

OK....i re-did it a few times and I still don't have MMS as a option. I'm completely lost. I don't do but 8-10 audio or video messages a month, but that's the fun of havin that feature...BUT...i don't want to pay for a feature if it's not gonna be available. ANY SUGGESTIONS? I've done a small and med Rom size.

BTW...yeah..I've double checked....Verizon is selected..MMS ARCSOFT is selected. Is there anything (any ONE APPLICATION) that I DEF need toh ave selected just to receive my MMS? AGAIN...text and email are coming thru just fine.
