Thank you for your work on PR5

I have found one problem with it and that is with BT. The BT worked great in PR4 and had no problems making and receiving calls. In PR5 the BT is sporadicly working. I am not sure what the problem is, but this is something that needs to be addressed.

nuguy: We must have posted right about the same time as I didnlt see your message. I have not tried autostep yet. Been a bit busy but its on the list. I have not been doing to much overclocking lately so it has not been an issue so has been tabled a bit. I hope to get a look at it and see if I can get it in the next rom possibly, I just need to really test it first. As to the html, you might just want to extract on of his roms and copy out the htm. You could just pick through it to find what your after and just copy it over

jdelgado89: I usr spb backup all of the time, but you do not want to use it after a rom update as it will replace reg entries. So any tweaks that I would make to a new rom could be replaced by old values. So its great to make a backup vefore the rom to restore in the event you do not like it or have issues, just make sure to restor on the same rom version it was made on.

84pinin: There were no changes to the BT in PR5 that was not in pr4sp1 what are you having issues with as to BT? I only have a BT stereo set so I do not use it for phone functions. Might want to try re-installing the rom and see if your still having issues, that or give a few specifics and see if anyone else is seeing them. I may need to see if I can use someones BT for a bit to test this out. When you ran pr4 did you run the sp1 update as that did make some bt changes for A2DP that were migrated into pr5.

Chris Mckay author of WisBarLite, responded to my inquiry about his next release with this:

"Yes. I will be posting the update on Wednesday. I've been working on the new requests and a near-pixel-perfect rendition of the WM6 taskbar. Now I'm away from my computer for a couple of days, so I can't get it released until Wednesday, the 14th."

saridnour when I had PR4 installed I also installed SP1. My 6700 will create a link to my headset, but when a call comes in and I try to answer it from the headset, the headset will not pickup the calls. If I dial a call from the headset the headset does not activate and I have to use the handset to hear and speak to caller.

I will try to reinstall PR5 later today and see what happens. I think that you have the best AKU out there especially the latest release once I can get past the problem with the BT.

DSOD

Hi,

Im a lurker. I installed this and it is GREAT!

I did start having lots of DSOD after the install and narrowed it down to the time sync in the phone options. Now I have that turned off and I have no more DSOD.

just my 2cents hope it may help someone.

voicecmd.exe????

Okay, I own a copy of vc 1.6, but for the life of me can't figure out how to just put the .exe in to take advantage of the space savings.
Here's the files I have available to me from the program files folder on my pc:

flag, install icon, license doc, the 4mb application cab, readme txt, vc 1.6 config settings file, user guide, website link.

How'm I spose to do this please?

mn3kgtvr4--

There are probably other ways, but you can use WinCE Cab Manager to extract the exe file from the cab file. Cab Manager, which I think is available for download at download.com for example, gives you 15 or 20 free uses before you have to pay.
