Is there an ongoing issue with .NET CF or am I the only one that can't seem to get anything that wants to use it to run? It puts up a full screen error message to the tune of there's something missing, and then I get a window that gives the 'something is missing or corrupt so you should reinstall .NET CF 2.0' message. I've attempted using the ID notification prog that I found on ppcgeeks to announce caller id info over the bt headset and one other program that I can't recall off the top of my head.

How come when you have the phone on vibrate and you activate the Voice command it makes a loud beep. Isnt it supposed to be quiet like 1.5. Thats not a good thing if u have it on vibrate.

Everything looks/works good so far. (several hours)

Thanks very much for your hard work and continuing effort to keep this ROM updated.

Truthfully, I like tinkering with ROMs but I have been too lazy too play.

Thanks again

Nick

Its like having 2 ringers doing 2 things. By putting 1 on vibrate you only have one audible alert.

just installed your ROM. very, VERY cool. one question tho. i now have a thin green line across the top of my screen. when i plug in the USB, it turns yellow. clearly this is by design, but how do i get rid of it if i don't want it there?

never mind...found the posts about wisebar

btw, i've installed and am successfully running this ROM on an alltel ppc 6700, if anyone cares. thanks again!

I work for sprint. The answer is a big NO!

I have two questions myself

-What would you use "phone codes" for?
-Why is there no icon for spb imager?

Other than that runs great!
Nice, I work for Sprint as well. Store 547 here in Colorado Springs. And yeah, you can tweak your device to your hearts content. However, if you fry it and they find out you put an unsantioned ROM on the device they can technically refuse to replace it. Unless you have the TEP insurance. That and most techs don't know how to work on PPC-6700's so you could put it in bootloader mode and technically get it replaced all the time. Shhhh. Hehehe.

The phone codes are what's used to program the phone and other internal settings. Mostly the stuff RCC's and techs deal with. For instance, ##MSL number# would bring you to the program screen where you can edit the phone number.

saridnour--

Your A2DP fix involves changing the quality of the audio playback. Apparently, that works for some people. It hasn't worked for my headphones. They seem to require a large value (for that A2DP registry key) in order to function properly. Have you considered that the initial skipping problem in using BT with WMP might be a buffering problem? I don't get any skipping when I use BT w/ TCPMP. However, there is a significant latency, during which time, I presume TCPMP is buffering. Is there any way to contol the buffering in WMP? Just wondering.

jendand: Not sure on the buffer. I looked a bit for it. I just found a value that worked out of the box and set that as default and detail how and why to change it. Its odd, you can copy the same mp3 to the storage memory and it won't skip so I think it also has to do with the IO to the storage card. I personly use media player as I like the library aspect as well as control of it with Voice command. I can have the unit paired to my headphones, screen locked and the display off and still call up WMP and the album artist, etc as well as skip fw etc without having to unlock it.
If I do find a buffer setting yo will see it in an sp or later release. If you find one, let me know.

I have a question, by removing the battery from the tray, do you have the battery icon loaded up on the taskbar next to the time, like the Sprint 6700s?

I always wondered if that is a reg setting to turn that on.

technole: I jsut use the wisebar battery meter that goes along the top of the display. It doesn't take up any room and works very well.
I think you can enable the battery in the top bar with a hack, but I would hae to look that info up myself
