Anyone setup with BT and want to test some PAN possibilities? I do not have a BT adaptor so I can not test the pan but have a lead or two that may make a differnce getting pan to work through BT (Tips from MSDN).
All you need is be familuar with BT pan and know how to import reg entries. Just want to post them, but need to know they are being tested as there are a few and I want to test in stages -saridnour |

ok this is a crap shoot as MSDN does not doc these fully. So try them one at a time backing up the original value, reset after each change then if all fails, try them all at once. Might sound odd, but some keys need other dependencies.
Note the last could be a security risk, so make sure to turn it off after testing the key. Let me know errors, issues or anything of intrest. Also if it does work, try ad2p or BT headset if available to you. [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Bluetooth\pa n] "ActivateOnBoot"=dword:1 [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Comm\ConnectionSharing] "DisabledOnBoot"=dword:0 [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Comm\BTPAN1\Parms] "ConnectionTimeout"=dword:30000 [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Comm\BTPAN1\Parms\TcpIp] "EnableDHCP"=dword:1 HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Bluetooth\l2 cap "NoRoleSwitch"=dword:0 [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Bluetooth\Au dioGateway] "NoRoleSwitch"=dword:0 [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Bluetooth\pa n] "Authenticate"=dword:0 -saridnour |

One more:
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Bluetooth\Set tings] "ScanMode"=dword:7 Set the device as discoverable so you may want to disable later. MrHappy: You had these values already set? Most should be revsions unless your doing some other hacks in there?? valenciag: The ppc6700 is an apache device and what this Rom is created for . If you have not read the ROM threads though, I would highly recomend doing so prior to any rom upgrade. -saridnour |
