Yeah Colonel, yours is the pkg that I am using in the kitchen. I have tried putting the exe in the oem folder, which copies it correctly. I have also tried manually copying it to \windows after install. Neither work. VC starts, but never responds. I usually have to soft reset to get it to stop. I tried the empty cab thing to no avail. Reinstalling the cab allows it to work fine.
Thanks!

I came to the same exact conclusion when trying the same things you did.

That is very strange. I will look at it and see if anything has been corrupted. All I ever have to do is just copy the exe and enable VC.

I too am experiencing the same thing with your OEM. What version of 1.6 do you have? The weird thing is I installed 1.6 from the cab and then copied all of the files from the ppc to your oem to overwrite the files and created the rom again. This time it worked except I can't push the button on my bluetooth to activate vc. I am sure it is a reg setting I am missing but haven't searched for the fix yet.

Well, if that's the case, then perhaps someone corrupted Colonel's OEM package (we had been worried that was happening).

Colonel, if your's is still working, how about reuploading it to ftp.
