im late on this section but i just cracked my screen also, i was trying to do the same i downloaded the program to search through my registry and i found the .exe but it denied me access to delete and i also found it digging through my folders on the phone and yet again it denied me when i tried copying the fake .exe over administration permission or whatever it said i was denied any clue now? i have a ppc mogul sprint.

I had an alignment problem from repeated drops, but I wasn't sure the drops were the problem. I finally got aggravated with having to constantly realign just to use it. To make sure it wasn't a software glitch somewhere, I did a hard reset. After the hard reset, the alignment screen came up and I was unable to get past the alignment screen. After giving up, I called Verizon and once I told them the problem, they immediately said I would need to send it in for replacement. According to them, there is no way to get past it because I tried to get the info from them. I had the replacement plan, but just didn't want to send it in. At least that is my experience with the problem. Hope that helps.

Flash it with a custom ROM using OEMizer to disable initial calibration screen... You may or may not be able to use some of the touchscreen, but you can usually get around that using a keyboard and dpad...

Im having the same problem, and i followed the instructions to delete the windows.exe file. I did that and now my can only make outgoing phone calls. I cant check my texts, receive calls, check my email. My phone only has the start menu bar with the time and bars. Then a windows mobile background, glad i can make calls but if thats all i can do whats the point of having the mogul? Any help?
