SMS tone problem

im using photocontact pro, and every now and then (kind of frequently) my sms tones stop working, when this happens, if I open photocontact pro to check tones it also won't let me listen to them, to preview them, a soft reset solves this problem but only temporarily, anyone ever experience this? or know of a fix for this?
