hodula1: I have not tried bt pan as I have no bt adaptors but I just found a bug in the wmodem that prevents it from working. I know the problem and have it fixed as I am using the connection now through usb.

mdecker79: I have the latest wisebar in the Rom. You can still upgrade by copying any later released bits to the windows directory as this will overwrite the bits in ROM (not physicaly but virtualy). This will take up storage space, but so would a typical install of wisebar. I also plan to update this as new revs are released.

With the wmodem issues, I will most likely get a r3 build out this weekend if time allows. It should not take long to correct this and the build I am running seems to be as stable as r2 so we should be good to go.

Great! Thanks for the effort. I will look forward to R3 as I depend on the modem out here in the country.

If anone is seeing things not working, even if you think it may be you or on your end, post a note. I may note get right back to you but at least I have it on the radar as a possible issue to watch for.
I can't test everytihing as I may not have the hardware, or just may not use that feature. I just happened on the wmodem yesturday as I thought I would just try it out as I have never used it before.Took nothing really to fix, but I just had no idea it was not working...

I forgot to ad the Rom flash tools to the zip. If you have the r2 the same tools apply. I am re-upping the zip with the tools incuded now and should be good in about 15min from this post. I will edit this post when it completes. EDIT: File has been updated and should now be complete with tools.

Just downloaded and installed, on my vx6700, i shutdown wisbarlite, shut of scalar, softreset and my phone gets as far as the today screen then locks up, have to softreset, same thing, so hardreset, shut off wisbar, phone locks up.

I guess that's it for me.

Now I have enough motivation to build my own ROM.

Thanks

mcevoke: how did you shut them down? REmoved form starup or indicated in the menu not to run at start? This should not be happening.

Anyone else having trouble with this rom? Just wonder if there was a corruption in this as my reg version does not show this.
