Can you also provide me with the PPT and Excel cab files? These applications are critical to me for work. I was going to reflash to another rom version because of this issue, but this would solve the problem.

enracaed: Will do. I'll post up a cab this evening (6:30pm pst apx.) that will have the removed office pieces. I will post a reply here as well as set the link on the first post after the patch link. I will set one cab to copy over the missing office components.

brad65807: Are you talking about in Flexmail? If so the storage has changed in AKU 3+ builds and requires the r2 beta release of flexmail to access your contacts (see first post).
If you are talking about pOutlook, I never thought it did that. You had to click on the to: and then select (or search) through the contacts. May be wrong here as I have always used flex.

Quick (semi-n00b) Questions

I know I probably should look this up on the FAQ's or something, but can I use my current official VZ AKU 2.2 Ext_ROM for this, or should I use a more updated one? I know I really should customize and create my own, but I don't know if I'll ever have the time to do that.

Also, for the ones that have R2 installed, can you say for sure that there are no DSoDs in this release?

I have done this before btw (with the PPC6600)... I'm just looking for the best and most up to date ROM that requires the least tweakin' and hacking to get it running properly now. I'll worry about customizing at a later time...

Tested, so far the update is working perfectly!

I have not received the DSOD with this ROM. I routinely run apps off of my card (tom tom most often) and this ROM has not given me any issues related to the DSOD.

In theory you can use your Verizon EXT Rom with no issues, because the ROM does not have any sprint stuff. When i flashed the new ROM onto my phone, it left the EXT ROM the way it was before i flashed it (filled with ringtones and themes). Can anyone verify?

Thanks again for the ROM saridnour!

Thanks for your input, slypher.

This ROM looks promising. I know it's a hybrid and *may* become unstable, but I like what's included in here.

Installed this rom on my VZW XV6700.

I do not have a #777 connection. Normally I don't have to add it manually. Any ideas?
