It's 64768, should encoding only take like 15-20 seconds?

jokeman:

64768, is that the size of the imgfs_raw_data.bin file, or of the nk.nba file?

nk.nba, Raw Data is @ 59768

Keep in mind that the last rom I cooked was the basic with a few things OEMs taken out and none added.

Adding OEMs back in it's actually 58368. That's wierd that with more data it's smaller. Isn't it?

So I have no idea what i'm doing wrong at all. I've flashed stock no changes after unzipping and it still will not boot. I've tried from multiple computers with the same problem. Here is the process i'm following:

1) Run CreateOS
2) Run CreateRom
3) Move nk.nba to Convert & Flash
4) Encode, the only thing i'm changing are the directories
5) Flash with nk.nbf

I noticed that the CreateOS required .net framework 2 which i'm running. I also tried on a computer with and without activesync and I am making no progress. Is anyone else having problems?

i'd double check the conversion from nba. The encode tool reads the prj file for the location on where to put the .nbf. Double check that it is set to the directory you are expecting and then check the properties of the .nbf that you are actually flashing to make sure it is built today. Once to change the directory settings you can then save the prj so you don't have to do it again.

well I delete it after i've verified the build is unsuccessful so I don't think that's the problem.

and you grab the .nba from the dump folder right? (not the ROM one) I'm running out of ideas, i'll let ya know if i think of something else though

edit: I guess you could check the from part of the encode tool to be sure it's getting it from the .nba you think it is. Just trying to think of everything
