Back to hacking!
I've gotten stuck at the splash screen with Helmi's wm6 upgrade a couple of times now. The first time, I just reflash WM6 and it was fine for a couple of days. This last time, my device froze while I was checking email and I did a hard reboot. After that, it got stuck on the splash screen again. I tried going back to the sprint rom and it gets stuck on that flash screen as well. Anyone have a clue what the problem is and how to get wm6 to run reliably on my phone?

I don't run very much on the phone, just wm6, outlook, IE, live search, and google maps (not all at the same time).

Hmm, no responses? Any steps to try? My phone is still stuck on the WM5 splash screen after I put the sprint rom on. Is there anyway to get my phone back to normal or is it just a silver paper weight now?

An update....after quite a few retries, I think my phone is now officially dead. I can sometimes get to the "tap this screen to set up" screen and sometimes about two clicks into align screen, but then it just freezes again. I called sprint support and I told them I tried the hard reset, reflashing the latest sprint rom, clearing the phone several times with the same result and they think it's time to call time of death on the little guy.

Anyway, I'm not sure if this can happen to others, but it happened to me unfortunately. I'm going to put my line on vacation mode until November so I can check out the HTC Vogue (or Touch or whatever) and decide between that and the mogul. RIP Apache, you will be missed.
