I have sucessful cooked a ROM with the treo spedd dial.

Go to your today screen settings. select options for the speed dial and then assign some contacts or numbers as speed dial. Then the show on the today screen.

My IDTransfer OEM fully functional

I just upped my version of IDTransfer titled Nikki2Beeps_works_IDTransfer in the kitchen OEMS folder on the ftp
This makes the program work exactly as it would if you installed via cab.
-=Changes=-

1) Created Audio.lnk and corrected placement into Start Menu so it can be launched with M$VC the way its supposed to be.
2) OEM now correctly copies Silent.wav to the windows/rings so people who only want to hear the C.I.D. announcent can choose this as their ringer.
3) All .lnk files get coppied to the correct places so program doesnt lock up if you dont hit the "hide"button fast enough.

Sounds great and I can't wait to try it next time I flash my phone.

In the meantime, is there a way you could create a .cab for it, just to give it a whirl?

Thanks for your hard work!

signal34 The cab for IDTransfer is in the downloads section of this forum. It installs and runs correctly by itself on the ppcgeeks 3.5 1.2 pre 2 kitchen. What I couldnt get running correctly was anyones OEM of this for the kitchen. I in no means meant to say that BadSectors IDTransfer was not running correctly on its own. I couldn,t get it to run correctly on the original ppcgeeks 3.5 but that had something to do with the .netCF version.

Ahhhhhhh....okie --I misunderstood. Thanks much for the clarification.

Unfortunately, I still can't get this running on my 3.3 ROM. I even installed .net from the actual .msi package, not from an OEM. I get a constant error whenever I boot up...missing file and guid.

I have added a couple under the brightedge folder:

1) Sprint Extended Rom OEM with the Clear Voicemail option enabled
2) PaulyA Grass_b2 theme (just the theme, not the today plugins)

need help

Since there are not a lot of Alltel users here. I am trying to create a Kitchen OEM for the 2 Alltel files that are needed.
ftp://ppcgeeks:ezupload@up.ppcgeeks....ataCode.sa.CAB
ftp://ppcgeeks:ezupload@up.ppcgeeks....ettings.sa.CAB

Can someone do a writeup on the exact steps and how to have the kitchen clean up the external rom automaticly. Like the way that Kirvin does this on his clean and simple for sprint the extrom is empty all the customizations were built into his custom rom installer.

I could have been like others build this but I want to learn hot to do it so I can continue to do it with other kitchens to come.
Thanks

I just updated J_Bateys PhonaAlarm to the latest version along with the BlackIce.cab skin made specifically for Kitchen OEM install ONLY! (eg: \windows)

Ill also throw in cab file for guys that use a black theme. It changes the tapdots to red the seperator lines to Black and the BaseHue to 160.

Thanks J_B for 1.60
