Re: Can't flash back to official ROM
Unzip the oem installer into a folder and take the files in the output folder and copy them into the NoRUU flash utility then flash it. That should fix your problem.

I used the Titan relocker with no problems.

Re: Can't flash back to official ROM
Well that's my problem, the installer is one big exe file which just does everything (and while it is running and just about to to the actual flash, I can't seem to find where it puts the unarchived files... RAM?)

Re: Can't flash back to official ROM
as far as extracting the files from the exe; you can use winrar to do that. i believe thats what bonginc was talking about.
not sure I would try the Titan unlocker on an Apache or not...might try going into chat and asking the gurus about it.

Re: Can't flash back to official ROM
After you run the exe and click the first Next button, the installer will extract the files into c:\documents and settings\<user>\local settings\temp\pft3F7D.tmp (your destination folder may be different.) Copy the nk.nbf and ms_.nbf files and paste them into your NoID_RUU folder from the kitchen and run the APACUpgradeUt_noID.exe.

Re: Can't flash back to official ROM
Ok, this looks nice and easy but has anyone gotten it to work yet ?
After we run the APACUpgradeUt_noid.exe.....then what.. Where does that leave us ? Does that give the phone back its factory ID so that we can flash it back to factory Rom again ? Thanks... |

Re: Can't flash back to official ROM
Performing the steps I outlined will flash your phone back to the stock ROM. I'm not sure if it will give it back its factory ID.
