1. Are you putting your phone in bootloader before flashing?
2. Are you using the ma_upgrade_noid app to do the flash?
3. Have you tried restarting the 6700 (if you have to, take the battery out and leave it out for a minute or so, then put it back in).
4. Have you tried restarting your PC?

And as a last resort, put your phone in bootloader mode, re-download the latest verizon ROM from www.ustarcom.com/pcd/downloads (in case the one you already have is corrupt) and run that file as-is (do not extract it or replace any files). If you have a Verizon Apache then that should work. Make absolutely certain that you're plugged directly into a USB port on your PC (no USB hubs) and close all other running programs on your computer. You may also want to try a different computer and/or cable.

It's unlikely that your 6700 is truly bricked. HTC's phones are remarkably resilient when being f'd with. Just keep trying different things.
Man I have tried everything under the sun for the past hour. I will try to removed the battery now and see what happen. The stock rom I download for verizon did not work either I get an 112 or 114 error both related to the radio stack.

removing the battery did not help any bit
I can flash between the different rom but all boot up with no radio version so all phone and wireless function not workie
Please help me

Well 112 isn't a radio rom error--it's a ce rom error (that's the OS). When you try to flash, does any of it succeed? I mean do you see the progress bar counting up and the verbage about the three ROMs being written? Or do you get an error before it even begins to flash and then it doesn't go any further?

The more detail you can provide the better.

Here are some specific questions for you to answer:

- Did the radio ROM you got from icokeman flash successfully? Meaning did it show you the progress bar moving across?

- Does the phone actually boot up and give you the today screen? If so, go to start->settings->device information and report what it says for ALL of the ROM versions.

- Have you tried a different USB cable, different USB port on your PC, and if those don't work, a different PC?

- Are you certain you have the verizon version of the ROM? This is the file you want:

http://www.utstarcom.com/pcd/downloa...11000_Ship.exe

Seriously, try another computer if you can, and don't use anything you've downloaded from here--just activesync 4.2 + the ROM package I linked for you above.

But in the meantime, describe in detail what happens when you run the upgrade.

Colonel,

I baked my new ROM this morning with your latest. Everything looks really good. I'm still not finding PAN or DUN as an available service though. Am I missing something or should I wait for the next one?

OK here is exactly what happen. The phone has colonel latest nbf installed. I wanted to see why my phone signal was so low sometime. So I decided to flash back to the Colonel3.3beta2VerizonExtRom.zip but I added the radio_.nbf found in imcokeman dir the flashed actually completed OK but after it reboot it display none under the radio version. Now the radio version display
h/w=2
m=12
u=4
r: none
d 2.11.20 wwe

The phone still boot up with rom and ext rom just no radio stack. and when I try to flash back using the stock Verizon rom I get error at the first part of the flash which is the radio portion, it just stayed at 0% for about 4-5 min. and error out. On the phone it display "upgrade radio stack please wait" and just freeze there. I still have PDA function but the phone part is not on because of no radio stack. I can still flash to different colonel version. I just need to flash the radio version back, my phone has no radio stack. I just need the Verizon radio flash back to the phone. I tried extracting the radio_.nbf from the stock rom but that file won't flash using the MaUpgradeUTnoID.exe, but if I use the radio file found in the imcokeman it will attemp to flash but freeze at 0% and error out some country code error.

start->settings->device information display
rom version 2.11.20 wwe
rom date 04/04/06
radio version none
protocol ver empty "blank field"
hardware ver empty "blank field"
browser ver MSIE 6
ESN empty "blank field"

stock rom flash get stuck at stage 1 of the upgrading the radio please wait, and stay at 0% for 5 min then display error 114: radio rom update error. On the PDA it just freeze at the upgrade radio stack please wait.

p.s.
I tried on 2 different PC both same results
phone still boot but can not make or receive call

kdoweb, I think someone else had issues like this quite a while ago. luv2chill posted some instructions in this thread somewhere. I will look for them.

Actually, I found what I remembered, but it was a Verizon user that ran the Sprint ExtRom and had issues with data services.

Have you tried flashing the radio by itself? Just have the radio.nbf in the flash folder. This is a quicker way to test different radios.
