Whenever I run the CreateOS and CreateROM, I end up with just an nk.nba file. I do not get an nk.nbf, and since I have no .prj file, I can't seem to convert the .nba to .nbf. Has anyone else had this problem? I've done this on two different computers, and I have .Net 2.0 installed on both. Apparently the rest of you are getting the .nbf if you are getting working ROMs, so what am I doing wrong? I downloaded the Helmi_APACHE_AKU3.3_Kitchen.rar file and, without making any changes, ran the CreateOS and then CreateROM, but ended up with the following in my temp folder:
boot.hv boot.rgu dir.txt dump <directory> imgfs_raw_data.bin imgfs_removed_data.bin nk.nba Ideas? |

Thanks chill, must have missed that. With 4+ threads on AKU 3.3 and 20 pages in a couple of those threads, some of this info is getting buried. Too bad I have a job, I'd much rather finish my ROM today!

Keep up the great work....so if i understand correctly, helmi didnt upx anything like mike did when he made 2.2 right ? makes me curious to see how much faster the phone would be or at least how much more real estate could be gained.

happy cooking guys... ![]() ps: Hopes I'm not issue this idea too soon...after u getting familiar with kitchen stuff you guys will notice that if you can cook with AKU3.3 kitchen (AKU its all about OS and LOC files/modules), why can't u guys try to use other aku kitchen, like AKU3.5 kitchen (OS & LOC files/module)? since OS&LOC are independent (Windows OS)....don't want to sound like challange anyone, but thats the great things about kitchen... U open more possibility.... so since u already hv the APACHE OEM&Drivers pack (Drivers)... so Windows OS + Drivers = ? ![]() ![]() |

THanks helmi_c / Wide!
helmi_c,
If it has not been said enough I will say it again. Thank you for all of your hard work putting together the AKU 3.3 and the ROM Kitchen. This is an incredibly exciting opportunity for people like myself to learn more about how this all works. As soon as I get some more free time I'm going to try cooking my own ROM. Wide, Thanks for all your hard work to bring this to light, hosting the files, and giving us a place to exchange ideas and information. |
