Why does my phone stay on the internet when I get off it. Because when I get off, I still don't receive calls, they go stright to my voicemail. How can I stop that from happening. (My phone PPC 6700)

I'm sorry, but is there away to fix it so that I can recieve calls on the internet (ppc 6700) or that it can automatic turn off when I get off the internet. I'm sorry to bug you but I been getting a lot of my clients saying that they are going stright to my voicemail all the time even when I know I was not on the internet at that time. I even called sprint and got my msl if that can help(but I don't know what to do with that number) Thank You! I had my ppc 6700 for a week aready and I love it, but only thing I hate is not receiveing my calls even when i'm not on the internet sometimes.

Are you you using EVDO or is your handset only receiving a vision signal (the box icon at the top of your screen say "EV" or "1X")? Generally this may be a reception issue with your voice service. I would take the handset into a corporate Sprint Store and have them run an HP Test (diagnostic that tests the signal strength of the phone), if it passes that test call customer service and have them file a network ticket for the specific area that you are having this problem (don't tell them all over as that won't help them fix it) as those guys have already told you.... the EVDO signal is different than voice... if you receive a call even if you are actively on the internet you should still receive your call.

The radio and the prl on your phone needs to be upgraded. Click on start, settings, system tab, device information. tell us what your radio information, PRL version and PRI version is. With the old versions, voice and data had the same priority, with the new version, voice has priority, therefore your calls come through and data is paused.

PRL fixing reception is a myth....
PRL stands for Preferred Roaming List is affects your reception in roaming areas away from your carrier. The only time I've ever run into that it would affect non-roaming coverage or cause you to not be able to send and receive calls would be if the file itself is corrupted (which is very rare)

However the radio firmware upgrade MAY help always worth a try.

I dont think its a good idea for you to start 2 threads talking about the same thing. Its redundant. To continue helping you, the new upgrade should update you to these values.
radio is "1.27.00"
extRom is 2.06.300 WWE
PRL is "20224"
PRI is "1.19_003"
http://www.utstar.com/pcd/Downloads.aspx
make sure ppc 6700 is in the download box and click on the AKU2.X Fix Application. also dl the newest active sync fom ms website just in case, dont know wat version you have currently.
for more customizations you will have to read the noob threads.
