Did u reflash ur offical ROM to fix? And what did u flash that messed it up? You doing things on ur computer while flashing is a no no, and firewalls and all else should have been turned off prior to the update.

i had this exact problem except mine was not during an upgrade that it first messed up, i slammed my 6700 on the kitchen counter and apparently broke the internal connection to the radio. it will not take any updates after that. i had to drive all over town all day long to 4 different sprint stores before i finally found one who could swap it out for me. the cool thing tough, was they let me keep the new stuff that came in the box. all the chargers and cables and everything.

Originally I was attempting to flash a radio rom from another company (Verizon.) I received a communication with phone error (I think it was 114.) Afterwards it would only boot into the boot loader. I tried to re-flash the official Qwest rom, but it failed with a wrong country code - error 120. I re-flashed the Qwest rom (with the exception of the radio portion) and it worked, so now the phone boots up, but it says I have no radio. If I try to get Qwest or Verizon radio back on, it fails with error 120. As I am normally a linux user, I installed windows XP and did the updates specifically to flash the phone, so nothing else was running on the computer during the flashes.
