Re: WM6 crashed at 99%
The 4am TV screen (thanks Captain Jager) is caused by trying to load too big of a ROM (program data is loading into the splash screen image).
Are you sure your phone has bootloader 1.02? New/replacement phones generally are 2.05. If you have a 1.04/2.04/2.05 bootloader, all of your symptoms are because the allowed ROM size is slightly smaller w/ those bootloaders than prior bootloaders. There is a different (3rd) RUU for 1.04/2.04/2.05 phones. The recommended solution if you have one of these bootloaders is to downgrade your bootloader to 1.02/2.02. If you actually do have 1.02 on your phone, you probably need to restore your partition structure using mtty. Instructions for that are in the bootloader downgrade instructions as well.

Re: WM6 crashed at 99%
You HAVE to do the task 28 55aa mtty thing after downgrading, or you'll end up like you did before. If you didn't get a USB option in mtty, it's likely because you didn't stop ActiveSync.
