Fixed Pictures and Video

Rename in \windows directory
mfc80u.dll to mfc80u.dll.bak
and
msvcr80.dll to msvcr80.dll.bak

then copy the two files located in the \windows\oem directory to the \windows directory.

That fixes Pictures and Video.

This ROM rocks!

Ok I just hard resetted again. It is working now. That's weird because I performed a hard reset post flash. Anyway I'm glad it's now working. Thanks for your assistance.

When I soft reset, everything works fine but it doesnt see my apps such as TCPMP or PocketMusic. So I'll pull out my storage card and reinsert it and it sees my apps but the soft buttons stop working.

Very nice and quick find! Heck I hadn't even looked into it. Edit: u can move the two files from the OEM folder and overwrite the others to save space.

Ok so the original files that we are changing to the different names are already existing in the windows directory or we have to go to \windows\oem and find them there first and then move them over?

Confirmed both bundled smartdialer enabled via reg, and pic&video fixed via moving the oem dlls up. Y'all are the best.

What is the thinking on .Net? I found the raw cabs (posted before) and installed the .net 1 vers, does anyone have a smaller (compressed?) .net 2 cab that comes in around 2-3meg? that's what the uncompressed vs 1 takes

Don't we already have .net 1 installed by default?
