I don't either. I think I don't because I have never paired an A2DP device. Have you, Robb?

Phone Screen

This may be a dumb question, but has any one noticed that the phone screen now has the SEND and END buttons instead of the SEND OR END button and the SPEED DIAL button? I really miss my SPEED DIAL button. Is there any way to change this back to include the SPEED DIAL button? I have not installed any dialer skins yet, like the Eten one. Maybe that would work?

Re: SD Disapearing

It now seems to be pocket plus making the sd card disappear for me.

Microsoft .NET CF 2 to Main Memory
SPB Diary to Main Memory

The only problem I has was after installing MS .NET CF 2 Active Sync would freeze up the phone everytime I tried to sync. I uninstalled .NET CF 2 and Active Sync was fine. Re-installed .NET CF 2 and all was ok. I then installed SPB Time and SPB Weather to Main Memory. At that point my SD Card started Disapearing. The only way to get it back is to remove the SD card and put it back but only after it has been resumed from suspend for several minutes. I'm thinks this must be a registry change that is made in this AKU. I have put in the stability reg hacks(after finding the problem) from sonny486 in the PDAPhonehome forum.

Re Send/End vs Speed Dial... I had not noticed that! There was a similar issue with the 2.2 ROM....

AH! Found it:
http://ppcgeeks.com/speed-dial-butto...ial.html#15356

See if that works.

I use SmartsKey, so moving the DPAD joystick thingie UP is SpeedDial (it's all about one handed use for me)

I'm having problems tethering to USB with AKU 3.3 on my Verizon XV6700.

When I run the WModem.exe that I found in the \Windows directory and press the "Start" button, I get a new "Unknown Device" on my WinXP laptop.

I'm guessing the "Unknown Device" should either be a generic modem or generic serial port, but I couldn't set it up that way.

Has anyone been successful setting up a USB tether on their Apache (preferrably, an XV6700), and if so, how?

Thanks!

GotJazz,

Make sure when you connect the device after pressing "Start" in WModem that you are installing the modem drivers found on the CD that came with the 6700. There should be an OEM directory, drill down a couple folders and you'll find the USB Modem drivers needed to setup the modem.

3.3 or 3.5?

After loading Helmi's file, Start/Settings/About tells me this:
Windows Mobile? 5.0 with Messaging and Security Feature Pack
OS 5.1.195 (Build 15671.3.5.0)
......................................^^^^^

I thought the AKU change was to 3.3 not 3.5.

Any thoughts?
