Also, you must not restore a backup of your pim.vol file after you flash. The pim in AKU 3 and above is a different configuration from the pim in 2.0. If you need your contacts sync them to the computer or to an exchange server prior to doing the flash.

Herm, if you dload a a kitchen, it will be under the Tools folder.

what might be a a kitchen?

sorry im new here. I just found this rom and I am playing with it.

having some issues though. when i edit my registry to stop the text messages from telling me "Message Sent" it used to work with the old verizon ROM, but when i do the same reg hack it doesnt work.

also my sound is just sooooo quiet. anyone have any tips to turn up the incall volume? i followed this one guide on howard forums and set my values to 8 and still nothing.

These are all awesome works of art. the phone is so much better in many ways. But I have just one question. Who has the fix for the bug where you can send flix messages? I cant do that with 3.3 or 3.5

i guess this would be the dumnest question but how do you get the phone in bootloader mode or manually put it in bootloader mode. sorry really new to this stuff

hold down the power button on top of the device + the cassette on the left at the same time and then press the soft reset button on the bottom of the device with the stylus while still holding those two buttons down.

The display backlight will go off and the display will say "Serial v2.02" or something similar.
