I personally don't like S2U2. I just use the "Device Lock" button on my today screen. I just tap that and it locks the screen and buttons.

Nice to know the "native" one still works re. the slider, but the need to navigate to the Today screen and then physically tap the little icon before you turn the phone off makes it far from ideal for me. I was not initially thrilled with S2U2 - just wanted a locked today screen - but it's been far less flaky than the others that all seem to rely on the NQ. To each his own.
