weatherpanel in WM6 or an alternative?

Ok, I made the jump and upgraded to WM6 using Helmi's kitchen. I noticed there isnt an option for weatherpanel (which i loved). Is it compatible with WM6?
Is there an alternative that as a sweet radar screen as weatherpanel had?
I also noticed that the development for weatherpanel is just about dead.

I really like weatherpanel and would love to have it back in WM6
Please, im open to suggestions!

Weatherpanel has required a few patches of late, so an OEM hasn't been recommended... (I think it's finally stable, until 2009 at least.) For the latest patches go here: http://pixel.dnsalias.net/weatherpanel/index.php

It works under WM6, but all official support stopped years ago... A few dedicated hackers have been patching it, but it is close to end-of-life we don't have access to the source code...

The closest alternative I have seen is SBSH PocketWeather... I just bought this, and it offers a great deal more potential than WeatherPanel... It's graph function is about the only major thing I can complain about, but new versions are coming out regularly, unlike WeatherPanel...

I recommend using WeatherPanel for the time being, but switching to PocketWeather sometime in the next few months...

I don't know of any reason why it wouldn't work... You might want to check out the PocketWeather forum at SBSH here:

Hey BooDaddy:

Try this weatherpanel link here on ppcgeeks:

http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread...t=weatherpanel

I've been running it on my apache with WM6 & have really enjoyed it -- no problems.

Sorry, I meant putting PW into the HTC Touch Today plugin (in place of the stock weather app). I've done some reading and it doesn't look like this is an option.

I've played with PW trial and found it to be a bit more of a learning curve than I wanted, but the information is good.

People still using WP with Helmi's WM6 kitchen? If so, what theme do you use if you're using the HTC Touch Today plugin? Do you use pilot as well?

Tried it. SBSH PocketWeather totally sucks so bad it is not even funny.
