Random screen light up ??
I have Audiovox VX6700 (Apache) and Sprint Touch (Vogue)
The screen lights up randomly even when I have the phone in standby/idle mode. both of the phones do this, any ways to have the WM keep the screen blacked out instead of the backlight coming back on?

I have the same thing going on with my phone. It's always just lights up when ever it feels like. This happened with my first PPC and happens on my new PPC that was replaced brand new from Sprint. When I've asked multiple CSR's at different branchs they've all told me it had something to do with the network communicating with the phone or updating the signal. In time Ive just got used to it. Does anyone else have this problem or know the actual cause of why this happens?

I'm not sure why it happens but the same thing happens to me and my friends phone. (Always at the same time.) I'm sure it has something to do with the network. I sure would like to know what the real cause of this.

Mine does this whenever I go in or out or roaming, or in and out of EVDO areas.
I don't like it either, it eats up the battery and can lead to pocket dialing! Tomn8tr
