okay first problem I'm having is the storage card.. seems to take a while to load up. Once I insert it it take about 7 seconds before it gets notice by the system. This is on a fresh system that hasn't had anything installed yet. Other that the system seems a lot faster. Did bootup time speed up from the last beta. Felt like it.
Update: Weird thing for me is if I leave the memory card in while doing a soft reset, it doesn't show up. If I then take it out, the memory drive shows up but if I plug it back it the memory drive dissapper. As long as I do a soft reset and NOT leave the card in, then push the memory in after the full bootup it's fine. weird |

Just tried to load the rom on my 6700 and after reboot would only show bootloader mode. Tried to reload 4 times with no luck. Reloaded sprint rom and all was ok. Tried aku 2.2 update again and same result. Hopefully new version will work cant't wait to try!

The Storage Card delay is a deal breaker for me. I restored an AKU 2.2 Spb Backup file from last night on top and the delay went away.
Other than that, it's pretty sweet and I appreciate all of the hard work! |

hmmm... I did installed it by putting it in bootloader mode. Did not even know you could install it any other way. Anyways maybe to help track this down... I'm using the Sprint Version not the advance version. Has problem on both my 1GB Sandisk and 2GB kingmax card. Nothing installed in the ext_rom. thanks for the hard work

FIrst of all thanks for all the hard work with this.
I am seeing the SD issue as well. It will not pickup after the upgrade. This happened with both a 1GB Scandisk and a 2gb Transcend 80x card. After several reboots it would show and then disappear. Only if I would go into memory settings and display the SD card totals would it show again. The first couple of times doing this it would actually show a negative number. If I reinstalled the pp_lockup_apac_212705.sa.cab (if I am correct the was used to fix the DSOD issue by sprint) it would then run without a reset needed. Additionally, after the upgrade I was doing a selective install from the ext rom and I noticed that if the powericon.sa.cab file was installed it would cause the today screen to show only the current date and time with the rest being blank. No biggie but I was just trying everything out. I left that cab file out after doing another hardrest and it was fine after that. |
