Well this will just be an extROM nothing more, the OS part is what u r running now. There wont be a difference till a beta 3.0 or so on.... But my extROM will include programs I personally use and have installed from the start. Some freeware, some trials.....

This is a new replacement I got today from sprint.. so nothing is backedup lol..

SO what are steps for me now?

1) get the Cabs (ext_rom) from naigaboy (pmendu@gmail.com)

2) Then Load the SPRINT ROM from Sprint website first?

3) Finally download: Sprint_Custom.rar and install?

Anything else to do? Thanks for quick response.

You could get the cabs and add to the extended ROM making sure they are all READ-ONLY. Then flask the custom Sprint download and hard reset.......then u will be fine.

I know the OS is what I'm running now. I thought you might package it together again with the OS. I just wanted t know the details of it.

Also I have not flashed with either of the betas yet because I'm waiting for all the bugs to be worked out(or at least most of them). Beta 2 just seems way to problematic.

When do you anticipate Beta 3? I will definitely load that one.

I just installed and everything is really better. I did a restore with SPBbackup and everting new in the rom is gone, program wise. Should I have not restored this way. What am I missing by doing this besides the cool ringers. Also I could not locate the new PRL or the X button program stated in the 1st post. Can anyone help.

I expect Beta 3.0 probably to be released sometime in the next week or so, hopefully. The contents of my extROM will be posted on the first page as soon as I finish it, just trying to fill it up nicely.

Added Custom ExtROM and the Sprint ExtROM minus the junk. No hard reset needed with these.

forgive my ignorance here but I am confused on extrom Vs storage space. Isn't it all the same space, why would you want the include software in the extrom? just to automate the installs?
