That's what it does- improve roaming and signal pickups from towers whenever they update their towers or add new ones.

We are trying to update our PRI not our PRL at this time. I am not sure what PRI does though. That is something I would love to know.

Just a note... This is for the PRL (perfered roaming list) only. It will (or should) enable ring through as well (this is a side effect).

This does not update the Radio or the PRI. There is a different CAB (on the Ext by default) that updates the PRI and you have to flash a different Radio.

Hope this clarifies things.

This updated my PRI. I flashed my radio right before it and the PRI was unchanged. I then applied this cab and all was good with the PRI.

For some reason I can't get this to work. Here's exactly what I did
1. Downloaded to my computer, then transfered to 6700 to the storage card.
2. Installed to device.
3. Went to Windows\ and found PPST.exe and ran it.
4. I waited until I had no service (only a few seconds)
5. Soft reset, went to Settings/System/Device Information, still have PRL 20224.

What did I do wrong?
