Stereo bluetooth????

When I got my first Apache I was able to use my bt headset to listen to the music on it. But after the ROM was updated and they added voice dial, the ability to listen to music on the bt went away. Does anyone know how to reactivate it?

How do you find the audio quality ? I have the Sony/Ericsson HBH-DS970 headset, and when I tried listening to mp3s it sounded like I was listening to them over the phone. I wasn't sure if it was the headset, or bluetooth in general.

Its a little shabby, no bass, but I'm not one to complain. I think its the headset's sound capability that's the problem. The speakers in them are very simple because they are only made to carry voices. I only use this if I need to, like if I forget my headphones at the gym.

For better quality you could mess with the reg edits
check here
http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread...+audio+quality

read it all because on page 2 it shows the reg edits if they are needed at all. Talks about if your running wm5 or wm6 and on and on.

i tried those headsets in 2 shops and they wud only give stereo mucis and no calls answer or even calls in the ph.. so instead i tried the sony hbh ds200 the lower version. u can put ur own headsets in it and its cool can be worn as a clip. and the sound is true stereo and awesom. and all the features actually work viocecommand worked right away . and no ways its not outof a ph call.
btw ur 970 headset worked good to in stereo mode and i cud fwd and rewind n all too. and the sound was pretty good too.
im using a bootloader 1.00 ph . 17/11/2007 helmo wm6. with uk voicecommand. and not to many other tweaks. apart from the ie fix and a few other programs . lemme know if u want to know any other details about stack settings and all.

Little Help please...

If I may interject with my own problem,

I've been having audio quality issues with BT headsets using WM6. I flashed using the latest kitchen and the audio over my various hands-free and headset devices is full of static/crackle. I've tried three diff radio versions (1.12, 1.40, 1.41) and each had no affect on correcting this problem. If I flash back to the original WM5 load, well - everything is fine - but that defeats the whole purpose of upgrading the Apache, doesn't it...

Any advice/insight into this problem is greatly appreciated.
