My memory is about the same too.

I've always wondered how they can advertise
"Memory Capacity (FLASH/RAM) : 128MB/64MB"

If the extended_ROM is about 10MB
and my Storage totals 43.50MB
with Program (isn't that the same as RAM above?) 49.20MB

So the real world numbers seem more like
Memory Capacity (FLASH/RAM) : 53.5MB/49.20MB

Is there something I'm missing, or perhaps it's not that simple.

Do the WM5 OS files take up the rest of the FLASH? what about the difference in the RAM?

A2DP in AKU2.2

I seem to be having trouble with getting A2DP working.

I get full headphone sound when using the phone, but sound reverts back to the external speaker when using any other software ie Coreplayer, WMP 10, etc.

Is there a further hack that I need to make?

I am using a cheap BT mini headphone set :
http://www.meritline.com/bluetooth-u...o-headset.html

but they seem to work okay using other Bluetooth devices.

ps I did review the readme before posting

Thanks in Advance,
Nice Hack & Site WideAwake

Omni

FYI - PPC 6700, Wideawake's AKU2.22 (Sprint version), Coreplayer 1.04, Newsbreak, Total Commander, and a 2gb SanDisk MiniSD

Cool, NP

Update, I broke out some Bluetake headphones I had stashed since I found out Microsoft lied about A2DP being native to WM5.

I was able to get them to pair and I was able to get them playing in apps other than the phone. So all good on that count.

But, The audio seems to be mono (shared on both the left and right sides, I did a balance test to verify) and the fidelity is pretty poor (noisy and lacking aural bandwidth - for those in the telecom business a 0-4Khz voice channel). Note the headphones aren't the problem see note**.

Mike don't take any of this the wrong way, some functionality is much better than none.

Like you said lets hope that 3.0 will improve things.

**the Bluetake headset sounds great when paired with the Bluetake stereo transmitter plugged into a high fidelity source.

Waiting with baited breath for the next installment.

Keep up the great work Mike and friends.
