So here's an interesting question:
I made a cab that edits my MMS server info (my phone has been flashed from verizon to cricket, hence the need to change the server info). I'd like to have this cab autoload as part of the extrom. However, as stated throughout this thread, you can't put anything in the extrom to be installed after the MMS software. If I install it in front of the software, it just gets overwritten when the MMS app. gets installed. Do I have ANY options here, or am I going to be forced to manually execute this file every time I hard reboot? Any possibility of extending the extrom beyond the first reboot? any ideas as to how I might find the server entries inside the mms app and edit them there? Other suggestions? Anyone? Anyone? bueller? |

Tried that yesterday.. I believe there's a file which is executed with the cab for those settings, because it wasn't inside the registry entries in the cab.. I added the registry entries anyway, and it didn't work. |

Are you sure you have to have the MMS cab load last? Try it somewhere else. I am pretty sure that it is not loaded last in the Verizon ExtRom

Decided to put the ExtROM unlocker right in the Ext Rom and let it install itself that way. The installer never resets because the SUCCESS prompt never gets answered. I was wondering if the executable was written by somebody on here - and if it was, is it possible to change the exe to not require hitting the ok button?
It just finally finished actually.. it took like 4 minutes for it to reset |
