This happened to mine as well about two months ago. Wiggling the headset jack worked and then a few weeks later the problem came back. There were times that I just gave up and tried my phone several hours later and it worked again. The Sprint store just ordered a replacement and swapped it out two days later. I didn't have TEP at the time, so I got charged a $35 fee.

Just in case you didnt know your BT headset will still work while the phone is in this state. I have the same problem right now,and have done all of the reinsertion/wiggling i care to do! Will be replacing my phone as soon as i return from out of town

This happened to me too. I tried to wiggle it to "Death" I think i made it worse. Ending up FRUing the phone with VZW. Fru works just as well but the Bluetooth LED seems to be dimmer. Maybe its just me.
How about geting AKU3.x working on our 6700s. Time to take control of our PDAs. It is definately a known issue at tech support though eyeballz |

Hmmm well if Bluetooth was as clear as my wired headset i wouldnt worry. I use it when it is too loud around or if i have a big investor that i dont want to have to ask to repeat if my bluetooth just happens to not be working. I am debating whether i should use my insurance to get the phone replaced? is it a new phone? i also dont have the new rom and am worried a new phone will be all messed up when i spb backup to reload everything. but the internet problem i am having almost makes it worth it since i have tried everything.

something that helped me was turning speaker phone on and off until sound came back. It just takes a few times. Make a call and verify that you cannot hear anything and then turn speaker phone on and then off. It worked for me. I hope this helps
