Re: USB Not Recognized?
Yeah, try removing Active Sync and re-installing it.
Also, is there any irregular behavior on the AC charger? If the USB jack is coming loose, it will make poor connections with your charger and PC. If you think this may be the case, DO NOT WIGGLE THE USB CONNECTOR to test it. I learned the hard way. TWICE. It's much easier to repair a loose jack than to solder a new one on. It sucks. alot

Re: USB Not Recognized?
the problem ended up being a loose usb port. i had to charge the phone by smashing down on the usb while it was plugged into the computer. luckily, i was able to do this for long enough (i held it the whole time) to flash my phone back to the oem and then take it to sprint to get repaired.

Re: USB Not Recognized?
Hey there,
You might find this funny but from my experience I belive its a software thing or some kinda low level firmware related issues only after updating have I experienced this to Winmo6.5. I know it sounds strange but I have had this several times but only after flashing the unit . I put the unit into bootloader mode from serial to usb and the I see the connection when I connect the cable on the phone and the computer . It makes a connection but windows on the computer dont see it and the device some kinda of communication error of sort. So I researched this over and over and it only came down to updating the device has caused this. So with that being said as a last resort I opened the unit reflowed the Usb port. It worked in my situation. It was purely a last ditch effert and the usb connection was there(soldered) , it worked for me hope this helps . |
