You are the man!! I loaded the firmware update yesterday and spent a long time searching for drivers that it would like and gave up around 1 A.M. last night. Decided to try again today and eventually ran into your post here. Many thanks for the drivers. I made the connection using the settings specified but I'm getting an error 692, which it states: Your modem is either turned off, malfunctioning, or is not securely connected to your computer.
I'm assuming that there is some kind of problem with it being secure. Any suggestions?
Update: Hmm, I don't know what I was doing wrong or what I am doing right now, but I tried it a couple of times, gave a push-button restart to the machine, started back up the modem link and than went it and used the connection without any problems. Many thanks for the drivers and help. Somehow I stumbled upon the working solution. I do though seem to have some minor problems with keeping the connection stable, the signal seems fine and without moving, it drops after a certain time, but it seems the key is to disconnect the phone from USB, and re-connect and than re-dial.
