I'm having trouble getting this to install. It says the rom utility was not designed for my phone.

I'm using a xv6700. I currently have the original Helmi WM6 installed, not sure if that is a problem or not

Thanks!

Can't upgrade: Error 150: ROM Upgrade Utility Error

I'm using a Verizon 6700, Bootloader version 1.0. Windows Vista (which hasn't given me any issues with previous ROMS including Helmi's WM6).
Getting following error:

Error 150: ROM Upgrade Utility Error
This ROM upgrade utility does not design for your device.

(Bad English is true to the error.... noice!)

Any ideas as to what I'm doing wrong?

If you're having trouble getting the RUU to run (flashing application), try one of the others found on the site or in another rom download & just swap out the nsf file.

For the person having texting issues, make sure you didn't let the verizon customizations run after hard reset.

Damn.... I should have thought of that. Thanks. Let you know if it works.

I didn't let the customizations run either time. Texting is better today but got a rash of error 37's earlier.Seems stable now. I think some of these issues would be Verizon network issues. Thanks again Verizonguy!

I would agree. If it keeps up, call and have them rebuild you on the switch. See my post above.
