today i went to a shop and tried the following stereo headsets.
sony DS970 stereo headset.. it paired perfetly and i cud listen to great stereo music within seconds. and even the forward pause play and rewind controls worked. but the damn ph didnt work thru the bluetooth. the shop guy tried a bit but cudnt make out much as he cudnt understand that our ppc was hacked to ad2p and all.
then i tried a jabra s320 stereo headset and it worked perfectly after a soft reset. after uninstalling the sony one. the voice was good to even here. and it worked with the ph too..the other person cud hear me loud n clear. the controls for forward n backward and pause also worked with the audio manager.
but the ph cudnt dial thru the bluetooth which sucked. it didnt even cut the call thru bluetooth. only thru the ph.
this sucked and after spending about 30 -40 mins at the shop i had to go back empty handed.
is this normal that u cant handle the call button thru the bluetooth when u can get such advanced features like stereo music?and rewind and forward in the audio manager? that kinda sucked and i was confused.
i just wanted a blue tooth which i can hang in my pocket or collar and not look like a martian and having to worry about where the bluetooth is hanging.
these 2 sets seemed like a perfect ansswer but both showed this trouble.
wonder what settings were wrong ?
