This is a known issue. I have not seen a fix for it. There are several post around about this problem. A search may find an answer for you.

Sorry if this has alread been talked about. I couldn't seem to find an answer. Occationally with WM6 (Helmi_C) the green phone button does not work. Anyone having the same issue?

I've rebuilt 3x and i still cannot get HTC Home Weather to work for Atlanta.
I get "Unable to retrieve data for selected city" error.
I am online and can goto diff sites though?
Anyone have this problem, and found a fix?

FYI: im tried all 3 versions of HTC Home.

I am also having problems with HTC weather. However mine has been working fine until this morning. Now no matter which city I choose it tells me "unable to retrieve data for selected city".

There is a fix for weather posted in a seperate post here somewhere, search for it, the site with the fix is http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=319187 worked for my 6700 make sure you use the 1.83mb cab if you have the 5 item home.

Fixed my battery issue on my 6700 with the new ROM which included the performance addon. The phone was suckin my battery dry till i figured out the default for the performance hadnt been checked for "Enable dynamic CPU frequence change". "Start, settings, system, performance" Big difference after i checked it, used it all day and still have a full charge.

I dunno if this is a bug... I upgraded from WM5.0 and when I try to open contacts it just flashes for a second. Closest fix I found was for another pda calling for button presses that aren't on the 6700. ANy ideas?

deosvx,
That sounds like an issue we use to see - I think it was from failure to hard-reset after flashing. [Edit: or failure to interrupt carrier customizations (i.e. soft reset during the countdown after timezone initiation.)](Don't know why you'd be flashing this old test rom. I'd think you'd want one based on the latest kitchen.)

Try hard resetting your phone, and when it prompts that it is going to start the customization in 3 seconds, do a soft reset and see if that works.

Just a note, that all of the customizations for your carrier are built into the ROM (assuming you installed the correct one for your carrier)

This worked for me. :) Thanks. I"m still having issues with MMS :( but I'm TOTALY happy to have my txt msgs back :D
