the slide button on the side doesnt lock when i lock my device. I am still able to adjust the volume when its supposed to be locked. is anyone having the same problem?

I've noticed that bluetooth com ports seemed to disappear if the phone suspends while connected to one. I have a bt gps that I use with google maps and had a great deal of trouble with the gps disappearing until I found that the outgoing port was being deleted when the phone suspended..

Does anyone have any ideas for the WIFI (WPA-PSK) issues?

My guess would be if you duplicated these entries and copied the htmlnote.dll to the new OS it just might work.


I already tried exporting that "HKCR\CLSID\{c59db..." key from a working WM5 xv6700, then importing it into my WM6 registry. And the "htmlnote.dll" file already exists in the WM6 ROM... but I'm going to try copying that .dll from a wm5 device later and see if it acts any different...

I found this issue with Live Search using AKU 3.5. You're better off being connected to external power when using GPS with google maps or WLS just because the device will shut off and mysteriously turn off bluetooth along with it for some reason. Otherwise, you can change the settings so that backlight/device don't timeout.

Yes, I noticed this problem as well. I was driving home from Las Vegas this weekend with Live Search tracking my GPS, I had the phone plugged into the charger with the charging status, then all of sudden the phone reboot and when it came back up, it said the battery level was low blah blah blah. After that I couldn't get it to recognize my charger.

Wow....this site, this group, well...what can I say, you all rock.

Intellisync mobile (Groupwise Mobil Server Client) works great.

I have the same PSK issue when trying to connect to my VPN.

Not being prompted or given the option of downloading files to my storage card, only given error that there is not enough space?

Cannot get ActiveSync to work...gives the dreaded 85010014 error, all I want is my contacts sync'd once :-)

Also I cannot get the BlueTooth modem connectivity working with my MacBook as it did with WM5.

BUT....all in all, pretty slick.

I'm having the same issue as well (I'm with Sprint).

The only piece of software that worked in WM5 that doesn't work in WM6 is VoiceMinder. That's a huge bummer for me but not a deal breaker.
