i can say i ran into the issues with palm threaded on the wm6 rom.. i installed palm threaded and was able to send/receive. after a soft reboot i wasn't able to send messasges and receiving errors for every message. removed palm threaded and everything is working fine again. this app is a must needed for me and i'm heavily deciding on going back to wm5.

Lol, I just figured it out.

For the threader, you want to go to advanced options, click on Manual, and make everything blank, with the last option set to Default. Then click 'ok', and put it on Automatic.

Now the Palm threader will work (I had to check with the settings on my brothers WM5 phone that I installed the Palm threader on)

For the application, check my post 2 posts up.

That didn't work either. I'm using PocketCM Keyboard threader until a fix is found.

Flaky SMS

Well. It seems like I have some flaky SMS issues with the standard messaging client now too. Last night I was getting texts for college football score updates, but around 10:30pm, they stopped coming in. I thought maybe the service stopped sending them, but then this morning around 10:20am I suddenly got about 35 texts with score updates from the night before.

I'm going to have to monitor this closely in the next day or two. Flaky SMS will be a show stopper for me.

it just worked, and now its not working. I'm testing some things out...

I noticed when I go from Automatic to Manual, it already has some settings in there (even if you delete/overwrite them). On the other phone, everything is blank except MMS URL - which is "http://mms.sprintpcs.com/servlets/mms.

I'm still having trouble with the threader though.

also when you uninstall this version, you have to remake the messaging shortcut, as the uninstall deletes it.

I agree with all of you, the Palm threader is a great program to have. I haven't tried the built-in PocketCM threader on WM6, but on WM5, it would only thread my outgoing messages.

I can honestly say I did have the Palm Threader working on WM6 for about 5 minutes. I don't know what I did to make it stop working, but it does work on WM6. There must be something we're overlooking.

I'm still trying, because I want this to work just as much as you guys. As soon as I figure it out, I'll let you know.

Okay, now I'm having trouble using SMS messages all together. I can send them, but I can't receive them. I did a hard reset several times, without changing any settings, and I also tried hard resetting while letting the VZW EXTRoms install, none of which showed any results. I'm not sure what the problem is.
