Hi folks. When I go into bootloader mode, it says 1.02 (This is a XV6700 Verizon). However, the exe file when I run it gives me an error 150 and says its not the correct ROM updater for the device. I am using VISTA Business if that makes any difference.

Should I try the other one -- any strange consequences if I do that? Any other ideas?

Tried as suggested and system will not let me delete any files associated with application. When looking at the properties of the files they say they are in rom and read only. Is there something I am missing. I did remove the htc from the today screen, is that what you mean by disabling.

Matt

MLBuckner - I never understood that either, when people suggested deleting files included in the flash. They're on the ROM. I never had any luck. If someone could provide instructions on how to do so, I'd appreciate it.

Still running after about 24 hours and no real problems.

There's no point to deleting files in ROM, they don't take up any program memory and you couldn't reuse the space for anything else anyway. When a kitchen is released you can mix and match things to your heart's content. In the meantime, you can remove the HTC today screen plugin from the today screen just like any other today screen plugin: from settings|personal|today|items

Apache mogul question...

Guys,
Does the "Touch flow" of the mogul works on the PPC6700 with this ROM???
It would be freaking nice the interface...

I agree with mdphx...just disable the plugin from displaying on the Today screen. If you really want to delete the files, I think you can with Total Commander.

Yes, search the forums for apachesplash.exe. If it doesn't come up, send me a private message and I'll arrange sending you the zip file. It contains instructions, the exe to change the pic, and a converter to conver BMP to the right picture format.

I had this same problem trying to flash it from my Vista Ultimate. I ended up doing it from an XP machine and it went through without a hitch.
