Disappearing Messages

I'm not sure if this has happened to anyone, but if I do a soft reset all of my text messages are erased.

well i'm using mail2web, so i guess that explains why my push-outlook email isnt showing in html (which i still think is dumb) but my pop3 account also isn't displaying html email.

Another noob question, I know....but when soft resetting before customization, is the minimal cab installation the same as before?

I was able to run the installer on my Vista Enterprise setup by setting the installer to run in XP SP2 compatibility mode.

Thank you very much. Life is better again with my PPC6700 in Sprint. So far it's running very well.

Simultaneous Key Presses?

Does the new operating system allow Simultaneous Key Presses? I spend a lot of my time on my phone playing emulators. And it's critical to press right and the "jump" button at the same time, for example. The stock 6700 won't allow this. So, there's a program you have to run in the background to do it. Can you press two buttons at once with this ROM - or will the 6700 keyboard fix from emulamer work?

Also - I'm a little surprised that someone's reported only about 27 megs of available RAM after loading this ROM. Saridnour's latest 3.5 gives me 31.5 megs on a fresh boot. This might give me pause to update.

By the way Helmi, please do us all a favor and let us know what device you go to when you decide to switch phone or PDA. I'd like to make sure all my future devices are Helmi- supported.

Very cool... just installed it on Old Faithful and all looks good so far. More props to Helmi!

As I mentioned in an earlier post, my Apache problems are more hardware related than software (it works great, but it's basically falling apart from 2 years of overuse) but this definitely gives me something to play with in the interim while I decide if I'm going to get a 6800, maybe see if I can find another Apache on eBay, or keep this one.

Donation's on the way!
