Hello, please do not come in the Apache thread asking for different device ROMs. You will not find WM6 for the Q. No one would even bother to waste their time with a phone like that. Please use Google, he is your friend for stuff like that.

ok. im in serious need of help. I have dl'd build os and helmi_c's kitchen. everytime i go to add to phone, it says that it cant find the rom folder. what should i do

I have heard of that issue but can not recall who or what came up with a solution. I'll try to search for you. I perosnally never have had this issue.

Hello Forum,
This is off the topic of discussion here (appologise for that) but I'm trying to load a custom ROM on xv6700 verizon with BL v1.04. Ive tried the RUU, NoID RUU and Newbootloader. I get all kinds of errors from Get DATA error to Invalid Country code and Invalid ROM Version for Device.

I would like to read this post but with 100+ pages, I thought I'd ask for some advice.. Anything would be appreciated..... And I also tried the cricket rom from Helmi_c ( from the very first page ) and got the Invalid ROM for the Device....

You will need to use the kitchen for bootloaders over 1.04 watch my videos for poper use.

I've said it time and time again, yet people just don't get it.

Why the hostility?

The kitchen comes with the exact same RUUs that he said he's already tried, right? He has a ROM that has already been cooked and needs to install it, he doesn't need to create a new ROM from scratch. Where does the kitchen come into play in installing a ROM that is already created?

So: (sorry if it's been addressed; trust me, I am one to search and search before posting) which RUU do the people with 1.04 bootloader Apaches use to flash custom ROMs? If it's one of the ones that we've already tried (and failed) with, does anyone have any suggestions about what could cause these failures?

Again, we've tried the standard RUU, the noID RUU, and the newbootloader RUU.

Ah, I didn't catch that part. Hmm, now I really do wonder what the problem is. I don't know what most people use but I use Standard.
