20755 is already in the kitchen/updater. my documents/buildos ruu has the last successful build in it, complete with loader.

Re: WM6.1 build 20931 kitchen
Well Done Gguruusa!!!!!!!!
It works perfectly! Well, almost. I selected the DUN and modem and it asked me if I wanted to overwrite some files. Everything seems to have built properly. I am a happy camper. Thanks for all of your hard work |

Re: WM6.1 build 20931 kitchen
This is great!
For those like me who had trouble flashing a rom in Vista after cooking it (because of connection error and device not "seen"), this kitchen makes it much easier. Before, I had to run "XP" in a virtual machine to flash,.. but now all i have to do is goto the "BuildOS RUU" folder in my Documents folder and I was surprised to see the latest rom cooked there waiting for me to click and flash it with the included files. I dont know why Vista is picky like that but as long as it works I don't have to run my Virtual XP. I also notice it will not work if clicked in cascaded view, I have to open the folder to make "ROMUpgradeUt.exe" find my device. Automatically having latest rom in that folder is great so guys like me dont have to wander poking around looking for the last "nk.nbf" cooked. lol ![]() |

Re: WM6.1 build 20931 kitchen
i just flashed the 931 build today and everything seems to work except when you play music in windows media or TCMP it will just shut off after 4 minutes if you dont hit screen or keys. checked my power settings and still this happens. Can anyone else confirm this??

Re: WM6.1 build 20931 kitchen
I have:
On Battery Power - 5 minutes On External Power - 30 Minutes. TCPMP and Windows Media shut down after 4 minutes - it appears that 6.1, 20931 does not recognize that music is playing and shuts everything down at about the 4 minute mark.. Last edited by skagwaypilot; 12-01-2008 at 09:45 PM. |

Re: WM6.1 build 20931 kitchen
This is going to sound weird... and I don't even know what to think of it... but...
I noticed that now that patches is fixed with this kitchen, the battery consumption is twice as fast as it was when it was broken and I was using the SPB safe boot workaround. Is it possible that something else is getting injected in patches that is almost doubling battery consumption? |

Re: WM6.1 build 20931 kitchen
I flashed this yesterday after including MS Office and "icontact". So far, I am not receiving any overt issues with battery consumption, and performance seems to be on par with 20748. Actually, things are more consistent on this build - it doesn't seem to randomly bog down so much, at least so far. Time shall tell, I guess... or until another build rolls around to play with.
