Re: Apache WM6.1 Build 20748 Kitchen
OK, so very new, first kitchen, probably a dumb question with an easy fix but I've looked everywhere and can't find anything. After cooking this up and adding some from the PPCKitchen_OEM.rar pack, several apps and games simply won't run. I get a 'cannot be opened. Either it is not signed with a trusted certificate, or one of its components can not be found'
Is this a normal error? Is there a registry fix or something that will allow it to run unsigned apps? Thanks for the help. EDIT: NM, installed .netCF and everything appears to work fine. SORRY! Last edited by Todd D.; 10-08-2008 at 04:11 PM. |

If you have multiple Builds and rename original selections files, then you may not actually be using the correct build.... REDOWNLOAD selections file. ALSO,If you goto: C:\Program Files\PPCkitchen.org\BuildOS\Kitchens\SYS_20748_Ap ache.rar you will actually see the "NetCF3.5" folder is there ...........soooooo as stated a few hundred posts back, there are some progs that need 2.0 if still dont work under 3.5, so just check that one in kitchen... Usually happens with custom reg entries that are not correctly entered. Find which OEM folder has the offending file by checking the GUID just stated... If yours, then edit & fix it. IF it is an OEM from any of the kitchen rar, then you have a corrupt rar. so re-download that kitchen file. Quote:
Uninstall your copy. Your folders "PPCkitchen" and "kitchen" with files will not be removed but thats ok. I would take out kitchen files and download fresh ones, as PPCGeeks rar is no longer used, replaced by PPCKitchen.rar... If you have vista and want it to be a fresh install, you will want to delete folder with Temp files here: C:\Users\"Your Name"\AppData\Roaming\hIq Inc Dont worry your password is not deleted there. Now re-install and run updater all should be well. Last edited by Maxx134; 10-08-2008 at 06:55 PM. |

Re: Apache WM6.1 Build 20748 Kitchen
Still unable to find bluetooth problem. As for the first screen alignment screen, that will work correctly if NetCF 3.5 is used instead of NetCF 2.0

Re: Apache WM6.1 Build 20748 Kitchen
I had to manually install PPCkitchen.rar. but I finally got into testing this build. I received the mentioned duplicate for ModemLink... here they are:
Apache_Core.rar\SYS\MODEMLINK SYS_20748_Apache.rar\MODEMLINK just an oversight by ppckitchen. I removed it from Apache_Core.rar. (wild guess) Last edited by Pir8Man; 09-19-2008 at 09:05 PM. |

Re: Apache WM6.1 Build 20748 Kitchen
I'm still having to Align screen manually; no big deal.
But I haven't been able to get it to sync using A/S yet. On my third flash. That is a problem. Is there something that needs to be included to make this work? -------------- Made a few changes... don't remember exactly what, but I know one of them was the HTC Networking and now I'm syncing. One other thing I noticed- when I make changes to S2U2 settings, I get an error. I'm guessing that it's because it's trying to save settings to a place that it doesn't recognize. Any way to work around this? If not, can anyone provide the S2U2 final released version in CAB form so I can install it after another flash without it? ----------------------------- Looks like I was optimistic too early. I got a little further in the syncing process, but got stuck while "looking for changes". I soft reset when it hung on Attention required for OneNote and as soon as I did, I got the message about combining or replacing my data. But by that time, it was too late. Now when I connect the USB cable it just tries to connect and fails. ![]()
