Re: Apache WM6.1 19213 Kitchen

thanks everyone....
i had the same problem with freezing at the boot screen on my xv6700. the june4 fix worked for me booting from boot loader mode.

is anyone having any active sync problems? I originally went to the helmi 6.1 rom, but i started having problems with activesync, so i tried this ROM in hopes of escaping them.....no dice....i'm still having active sync troubles. I sync my phone with my work exchange server and my outlook at home. I get an error that says "ActiveSync has encountered a problem on the desktop" "support code 86000107 " .

I believe that is an exchange configuration error. Nothing you can do about it - has to be fixed by your exchange server admin.

Re: Apache WM6.1 19213 Kitchen

I'll say it's compressible... i fit in a couple more OEM's that I could not fit before.
I still got the duplicate file errors with the 6.1 Graphics OEM, so I just removed that OEM.

I'll be using this for the next week, hopefully it will be more stable.

the compression did not change anything but how big the download is. You can fit just as much in as before.

Re: Apache WM6.1 19213 Kitchen

maybe its because I left out the redudant 6.1 graphics. but that doesn't make sense either as they should overwrite eachother before encoding. but I can fit CorePlayer, which is pretty big and never fit before on WM6 or WM6.1 with my other necessary OEM's.

who cares tho, I'm happy!

Re: Apache WM6.1 19213 Kitchen

Hi all. Thanks as I have successfully flashed my phone up to 6.1 and am very happy with the results. I have, however, come across some issues.

#1. No version of HTC Task Manager 2.x that I choose seems to work. The Icon appears in the settings->system menu but it will not run. I was able to add a 1.5 version from the AKU 3.5 WM5 ROM and build with it and it worked fine. I was also able to download and install a 2.x version over the cooked in version to get a working installation.

#2. This is a problem I have had with all cooked ROMS including WM5. I am a licensed owner of Resco Explorer 2007 but am unable to register it if it is cooked into the ROM. I always get the error that the license key does not match. Is there a trick I am missing, like cooking in a config file that has my registration key? If I install it to flash or ext ROM, it will register just fine.

#3. Just an observation that has most likely been made already.. but If I choose the SDHC drivers and attempt to play music from my SD card it is all messed up. Reverting to the standard SD drivers fixes the issue.

Same thing for me with the task manager, and just wanted to see if anyone else is having this problem with the june 4 ROM. If my screen is off and I turn it on no button works for about 15 seconds. That includes phone calls. When the phone rings I have to wait 15 seconds to answer it because the touch screen and the buttons don't work

Seek and ye shall find...
http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=19236

that's a posting I made about the same issue. The resolution I found in the final posting has work with every version of WM6 & WM6.1 that I have tried.
